"Maximizing Vocational Outcomes for Individuals
with Brain Injury – Promising Practices”
Workshop Overview:
This workshop will help participants develop a better understanding
of the cognitive, social and emotional issues resulting from
brain injury that challenge direct service providers in the vocational
planning process. Practical compensation and career planning
strategies that facilitate and maximize vocational success will
be shared. A complimentary resource manual will be provided.
Audience:
This training is specifically intended for DVR counselors, county
case managers, and vocational providers working with individuals
with brain injury. Others may attend, on a first come first
serve basis as space allows.
